Fundamental Academic Values Award
The prize is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research
By awarding three prizes for research publications, the DAAD aims to
to contribute to the defence of fundamental academic values, to promote important research in the field of science and technology, and to promote the development of new knowledge in the field of science and technology.
in this field and to further stimulate the debate on these values.
The call for proposals is open to scholars in all academic fields and
all nationalities
who have embarked on a career and have demonstrated outstanding scientific
contribution to the preservation and defence of fundamental academic values in the EHEA.
Applicants may be graduates holding a master’s or doctoral degree whose completion
should have a maximum duration of five years. Applications must be based on a scientific publication showing a clear link with
fundamental values of higher education.
